Katie Acheson

Managing Director, Youth Action NSW

 

With over a decade of social development experience, Acheson is a community engagement specialist. As the Managing Director of Youth Action, she represents 1.25 million young people in NSW and the services that represent them.

 

A childhood spent in four continents and extensive work experience in New York, Rwanda and Uganda, along with regional and metropolitan Australia, has given Acheson a unique understanding of the issues facing young people and the social benefits that come from empowering them.

 

“She takes great joy from having the opportunity to work with young people, talk about their issues, and being part of the development and implementation of programs that deliver for young people.”
