Anastasia Smietanka

Co-founder, The Animal Law Institute

 

Since becoming a vegetarian at the age of three, Smietanka has dedicated her life to helping animals.

 

As well as co-founding The Animal Law Institute, Smietanka is also the National Co-ordinator of the Barristers Animal Welfare Panel, a member of the Legal Advisory Council at Voiceless and a Board member at several animal rescue and foster care charities. Through her different volunteer and advocacy positions, Smietanka has become known as a leading voice in the animal welfare field.
