Leading one of Australia’s largest microfinanciers has seen Mooney become one of the faces of the push to use financial services to help people on low incomes.

 

Mooney's leadership has seen the significant growth of no interest and low interest loans, as well as the development of new products including affordable insurance options for disadvantaged people. His work has not been restricted to micro financing. Before joining Good Shepherd he was Acting CEO at Reconciliation Australia.
