Ron Petterson

Ron has worked tirelessly over the last six years to set up the network and drive and organise many of the key programs and initiatives that the network offers communities. These including postvention counselling and support to families impacted by suicide and suicide intervention training programs as well as co-ordinating large fundraising events which, in addition to raising funds, have also raised awareness of suicide and assisted in reducing the stigma related to suicide and mental health. Ron has also volunteered his time on other regional and state committees including Suicide Prevention Australia's Queensland committee. Ron's efforts have greatly contributed to the network being highly regarded for its impact not only by our local communities but by the leadership of Wesley LifeForce which supports the network.
