Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia
Kirsty Mead and the Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia has introduced a program educating year nine and ten girls in South Australia and Western Australia about endometriosis. Endometriosis education is something young women need to be aware of to prevent some young women from spending years suffering with what they think is period pain. Treatment for endometriosis can prevent these young women experiencing ongoing pain and suffering. Kirsty is continuing to work with state and territory governments to have the program in schools across the country.
