John McKenna

In 12 years as NCCH-CEO, John has been a community housing sector leader, raising awareness and advocating for housing issues in regional northern NSW. He has devoted ten years as a volunteer board member with the Community Housing Industry Association, including 4.5 years as chair, resulting in greater exposure to housing challenges in NSW. John’s expertise is trusted and his knowledge on solutions to the housing crisis is regularly referred to by seven local Councils across Northern NSW, the State Government, tiny-home manufacturers and developers, and local media. Implementing innovative approaches to address housing shortages, John has lead the growth of NCCH to provide homes for over 2000 people.
