As an advocate for women of colour, gender equity, and racial justice, Brenda has pushed the envelope on the diversity conversation, putting emphasis on the importance of intersectionality. Brenda speaks on behalf of the community she represents, calling out systemic and structural inequities, the impact it has on WoC, and shares what organisations can do to transform Australian workplaces to make them more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Brenda is not afraid to have the hard conversations regardless of how uncomfortable they can be, addressing issues such as settler-colonialism, white supremacy, and racial discrimination.
