Dr. Tuguy Esgin
Dr. Tuguy has been an advocate and leader for our first nations people since he first began his career in Indigenous health and well-being. He is a Noongar/Yamatji Australian Aboriginal man from Western Australia and has led health, mental wellness, business and education sector projects across four countries and some of the most remote communities. He has worked on major capacity building projects and the landmark mental health project which took place across 80 Indigenous communities. His work has led him through academia, being a published researcher, and into corporate and government sectors. He brings with him over 20 years of experience and learning on and off country. His passion lies in developing and supporting his fellow country men and women to live a happy, healthy life.
